Peeks & Valleys is a quarterly magazine published in November, February, May and August.  We seek quality writing -- traditional character driven literature.  We want the characters to be palpable, as well as entertaining, whether or not they are likeable. Poetry should be concrete and touch our senses -- don't leave us guessing.  Our goal is to encourage new writers and to provide a venue for accomplished writers as well.

Please follow these guidelines when submitting:

  Recommended story length is 5,000 words or less

  Maximum 1 story or 2 poems per submission

  Please no sci-fi, fantasy, formulaic, interview/profile, or erotica

  Simultaneous submissions are accepted if noted in cover letter

  Manuscript should be double spaced

  Contact information should include name, address, email address, and word count in header on title page

  Please include a 3 to 4 line author's bio

  Submissions should be be sent as an attachment in Rich Text Format (RTF) to editor@peeksandvalleys.com

Payment is $10.00 on publication plus two contributor's copies.  We reserve the right to edit due to space or content considerations.  Peeks & Valleys purchases one time North American rights and second or reprint rights.  Please advise where and when your story first appeared if previously published.
